Wizkid is criticized by Nigerians for disregarding the country’s 2023 presidential election

Wizkid, a Nigerian Afrobeat phenomenon, has received a lot of backlash for insulting the outcome of the country’s elections with his festive taste.

Recently, Wizkid and King Promise traveled to Ghana for the public burial service of an unidentified Ghanaian while Nigeria’s presidential and national assembly elections were taking place.

A tweep commented:

“Can y’all imagine. Wizkid in Ghana today enjoying himself while voting is going on in his country HOME Nigeria. Nigeria made him GREAT why don’t you give back to the society with 1percent of your vote???? So little minded individual (s). Mtcheeew” 

Wizkid hasn’t yet entered the upcoming Nigerian presidential race, despite this toll.
