NANS: Our Female students are getting pregnant.

The National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, has condemned the National Government for the continuous seven-month ongoing strike left on by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.

NANS said the strike has jeopardized the principal basic freedom of Nigerian understudies concerning admittance to instruction.

Confidant Olusesi Tolulope Samson, Lagos NANS director, uncovered this on the Arise television morning show on Tuesday while handling inquiries on the students’ dissent at the Murtala Muhammed Global Air terminal, Lagos, on Monday.

He said that the strike has affected the fate of their individuals, noticing that a few male undergraduates have become mechanics, some are getting the hang of printing work, and a couple of female undergraduates have become pregnant.

“The Federal Government has risked and adulterated the crucial basic freedom of Nigerian undergraduates.” A few came to the dissent yesterday with their ID cards. Others are learning mechanics now. Some are getting the hang of printing jobs, while a few female undergraduates are pregnant, “he said.”

He noticed that the dissent organized at the air terminal was to alarm the worldwide local area that something had been turning out badly in Nigeria concerning schooling.

The leader of the students said their interest was for the universities to be open again, adding that the undergraduates strongly believed that they would get a positive result from a proposed gathering between the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, and the initiative of ASUU.
